What you see
When the import is done, the bell shows “Your CSV posts are ready to review”. If rows were skipped, it adds how many: “Open the composer to review your import. 3 row(s) were skipped due to validation errors.” Click the notification. The composer opens with a warning message, “Some of your CSV needs a look:”. Below it is one line for each skipped row, like “Row 4 skipped:” and the reason. It lists up to 5 rows, then “…and 2 more.” (with your count). Why it happens
Each reason in the message matches one of these:
Rows that are completely empty are left out without a message. That’s normal.
Missing images or videos. PublishBuddy downloads each media link during the import. If a download fails, the file is dropped from that post without a warning. Links must open the file itself, to anyone, without a login.
A post has no date. If the composer can’t read a date, the card comes in without one. Check the dates on the cards before you schedule.
How to fix it
1
Note the row numbers
Copy the lines from the warning message. It stays open until you close it.
2
Fix those rows in your spreadsheet
Use the table above. Delete the rows that came in fine, so you don’t import the same posts twice.
3
Import the fixed rows
Click New Post, open the bulk menu (the layers icon) and choose Import CSV. Add the file and click Import.
4
Check every card
Look at the media and the date on each card before you save.
