Plans: Pro and Business, and the free trial. The AI Agent is a chat that knows your PublishBuddy workspace. Ask it about your numbers, or tell it what to post. It looks things up in your accounts, writes drafts, and schedules them once you say yes.

Open the Agent

Click Agent in the sidebar. A new chat starts with a short briefing, like how many posts are scheduled this week. Click a line, or a suggested question, to ask about it. Or type your own in the box and press Enter. Shift + Enter adds a new line.

Pick the accounts first

The row of avatars at the top sets which social accounts the Agent works with. Click an avatar to turn it on or off. If you pick none, questions like “show my drafts” or “what are my top posts” cover all your accounts. If the Agent needs to know which account you mean, it shows a list to pick from. You can pick up to 5 at a time.

What it can do

Answer questions about your posts and numbers
  • Engagement for a period, against the period before
  • Your best and worst posts, and what made a post work or held it back
  • Your best times to post, top hashtags and follower numbers
  • What’s scheduled, in drafts, failed or waiting for approval
  • Finding old posts with a certain color, object or words in the image
Plan and write
  • Post ideas, captions and hashtags, or a better version of a caption you paste
  • A plan for next week. Each answer plans up to 3 accounts.
  • One post per network from a long text, each within that network’s length limit
  • A new post like one that did well, or a rewrite of one that didn’t
Work on your posts
  • Save posts as drafts, for one account or several at once
  • Schedule, queue or publish a post, or move it to a new time
  • Edit, delete or retry a post that hasn’t gone out
It always asks before it schedules, publishes, edits or deletes anything. See Drafts and confirmations from the AI Agent. Make images and videos It makes images, short videos and carousels with AI Studio’s models, at AI Studio’s prices. You see the price before anything is made. See Make a carousel with AI. Read what you share Click the paperclip to attach up to 4 images or text files, or paste a link. Images can be up to 20 MB and are saved in your Media Library. The Agent can read a linked page, which is handy for “turn this blog post into a LinkedIn post”. Remember how you like things Tell it your preferred tone, language, emoji or hashtags. It remembers them in later chats.

Does it know my brand voice?

Yes, if you’ve set up a Brand Kit and assigned it to your accounts. The Agent writes in that voice when every account you picked uses the same Brand Kit. If you picked none, all your accounts need to share one kit. With different kits, or none, it writes without one. If you ask for a different tone in the chat, it follows you.

What it can’t do

  • Post without asking. It saves drafts on its own, but nothing goes out until you confirm.
  • Change a post that’s already out. It can’t edit or delete published posts.
  • Reply to comments. Use Engage for that.
  • Connect, reconnect or remove accounts, or change your settings or plan.
  • Work in another workspace. It only sees the workspace you’re in.
  • See accounts you can’t. A team member’s Agent only sees the accounts they were given.

Does it cost credits?

Chatting is free. Each message counts toward 60 AI requests an hour, shared with AI Assist and Ideas. A few things use credits:
  • writing post ideas, a caption or hashtags, or improving a caption: 1 each time
  • looking up your top or worst posts: 1
  • images, videos and carousels: the AI Studio price, shown before it starts
Scheduling and asking about your numbers are free. Your balance shows at the top right. See How AI credits work.

Your conversations

Your chats are saved under Conversations on the left. Click the pencil icon to start a new one, or the search icon to find one. Open the ⋯ menu on a conversation to Rename or Delete it.

Who can use it
