What you see

The post sits under Failed on the Posts page with one of these reasons:
  • “The platform rejected this post content. Please review the post and try again.”
  • “The platform rejected this post. Please review the post and try again.”
Often the reason goes on with The platform said: and a quote. That’s the network’s own message, passed on word for word. Read it first. It usually names the problem.

Why it happens

PublishBuddy sent the post, and the network said no. The network decides, not PublishBuddy. These are the usual causes. On every network
  • The text is too long for the network.
  • An image or video is the wrong file type, too big, too long, or the wrong shape.
  • The post breaks the network’s rules, or its spam filter caught it.
  • You’re posting too often, and the network asked you to slow down.
Instagram
  • The post has no image or video. Instagram needs media.
  • The image or video shape is outside what Instagram accepts for that post type.
X
  • The text is the same as a recent post. X refuses exact repeats.
TikTok and YouTube
  • The post has no video. YouTube needs a video. TikTok needs a video or photos.
Pinterest
  • The pin has no image or video, or no board.
LinkedIn
  • The post repeats one you shared recently.
The exact sizes and lengths for each network are in Character, image and video limits.

How to fix it

A post to several networks fails on each one separately. Fix the one that failed. The others already went out.
