Plans at a glance

On Pro and Business you can add extra social accounts and extra team members for $5 a month (or $48 a year) each. Pro adds:
  • AI Assist in the composer, the AI Agent and AI Studio
  • Brand Kits
  • the Engage comment inbox
  • the public API and MCP
  • bulk scheduling with CSV
  • the media library and follow-up comments
  • the Analytics page with growth charts
Business adds post approvals and the advanced parts of the Analytics page: demographics, best times to post, hashtag insights, recommendations, PDF export and scheduled reports.

The 14-day free trial

The trial is free for 14 days and needs no credit card. There’s nothing to cancel. If you don’t upgrade, your account goes back to Free and you’re never charged. The trial gives you the Business plan, so you can try everything. It comes with 200 AI credits.

Open a paid feature

On the Free plan, open Agent, AI Studio, Analytics, Brand Kits, Engage or Media Library in the sidebar.

Click Free 14 Day Trial

Then click Yes, start my trial to confirm. You’ll see “Your Free Trial Has Started!” Click Done.
A banner shows how many days you have left, with an Upgrade Now button. Each person can start one trial. When the trial ends, you’re on the Free plan. Within about an hour, PublishBuddy brings your account down to Free’s limits:
  • It locks the social accounts over Free’s 3, starting with the ones you connected most recently. They show Locked on Accounts.
  • It removes your team members from your workspaces, pending invites first.
PublishBuddy doesn’t delete anything. Upgrade and your locked accounts work again. Removed team members don’t come back, so you’d need to invite them again. Your workspaces stay, but on Free you can’t add more. AI features stop working until you upgrade.

Upgrade or change your plan

Open Billing

Click your avatar at the top right and choose Billing.

Click Upgrade

The button says Change Plan if you already pay.

Pick your plan

Choose Monthly or Annually and pick a plan. Use the + and − buttons to add social accounts or team members. The Summary shows your new total. Click Continue.

Pay

New plans go to a secure checkout page to pay by card. You’ll see “Thank you for upgrading!” when it’s done.
Upgrading during the trial ends the trial and starts your paid plan right away. When you change an existing plan, you pay for an upgrade straight away. A downgrade gives you account credit for the unused time, which comes off your next bills.

Cancel

On Billing, click Cancel Subscription, then Cancel Plan. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. The page shows the date. After that, your account moves to Free.
On Free, or on a smaller plan, you get fewer social accounts and team members. PublishBuddy locks the accounts over the new limit, newest first. It doesn’t delete them, and they come back if you upgrade again. It also removes team members over the limit, starting with pending invites.

AI credits

Some AI features use credits. Pro includes 500 a month, Business 2,500 and the trial 200. Free has none. What uses credits:
  • Images and videos in AI Studio. It shows the cost in credits before you generate. If a generation fails, you get the credits back.
  • Images the AI Agent makes or edits for you.
  • Some agent requests, like pulling your top posts.
Right now, these don’t use credits: writing with AI Assist, generating ideas, analyzing your brand voice and chatting with the AI Agent. How they refill: your plan credits top up every month. Unused plan credits don’t carry over. PublishBuddy uses your plan credits first, then any you bought.

See your balance and history

Click your avatar, choose Settings and open AI Credits. You’ll see your Plan credits, any Purchased credits, and a View Usage History link.

Buy more credits

On Pro and Business, click Buy More Credits on the AI Credits tab and pick a pack. PublishBuddy charges your default card right away. Bought credits never expire. Buying packs needs a paid plan and a saved card.
Credits belong to the workspace owner, and all their workspaces share them. A team member can only use them if the owner turned on Allow this member to consume AI Credits for them. See Invite your team and set roles.

Payment details and invoices

Billing also shows your saved cards under Payment Methods and your past Invoices once you have them. To change your card, use Add New Method, then Set as default.
