Plans: the Analytics page is on Business and the free trial. Post numbers show on every plan. Each network decides which numbers it shares with apps like PublishBuddy. So the same card can be full for one account and say No Data for another. These tables show what you can expect.

On the Analytics page

Some cards are built from your posts, so every network on the page has them. They are Engagements, Posts, Post Engagement, Posts Per Day, Best Times To Post and Hashtag Performance. This table covers the rest. What the words mean for each network:
  • Facebook: Reactions counts every reaction type, not only likes. Reach counts the people who saw your posts. Top Countries and Top Cities are where your followers are.
  • Instagram: gender, age and location describe the people your posts reached. Instagram only shares them for This Week and This Month. Pick another period and those cards are empty. This works the same whether you connected through Facebook or with an Instagram login.
  • LinkedIn: only company pages have analytics. A personal profile shows no numbers. New Followers counts organic followers. Reach counts unique impressions.
  • TikTok, YouTube and Bluesky: these networks only share today’s follower count. Follower history starts the day you connect the account, so there’s nothing earlier to show.
  • TikTok: Likes shows the account’s total likes, not just the likes from the period.
  • YouTube: Video Views follows the channel’s total views.
  • Threads: New Followers shows 0 for now.
  • X: X doesn’t share follower numbers or reach. Everything on the page comes from your posts. The Reach box and the Post Reach chart show profile clicks for X, not reach.
  • Pinterest: not on the Analytics page. Pin numbers show on the Posts page and the Dashboard.
Link Clicks and Video Views only show when the total for the period is 10 or more. For audience details, see Audience: age, gender and location.

On each post

Published posts show five numbers on the Posts page, the Dashboard and the Analytics page: Reactions, Comments, Shares, Reach and Engagement Rate. Where a network doesn’t share a number, the post shows 0. Some LinkedIn posts only get reactions and comments. LinkedIn doesn’t share the other numbers for them.

How engagement is worked out

  • Engagements and Post Engagement are reactions plus comments. Shares, saves and clicks don’t count.
  • Engagement Rate is reactions plus comments, divided by impressions, times 100. When a post has no impressions, PublishBuddy divides by reach instead.
  • When a post has neither, there’s nothing to divide by. So the rate is hidden. That’s why TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky and Telegram posts show no Engagement Rate.
Your numbers can still differ from what the network shows. See Why my numbers look different.
