Set up a report
1
Open Analytics and pick the account
Click Analytics in the sidebar, then the account on the left.
2
Open the report menu
It’s at the top of the page, next to the time period menu. It shows No Scheduled Report until you set one up.
3
Pick Weekly Report or Monthly Report
It saves right away. You’ll see “Scheduled analytics report settings have been saved.”
Who gets it
Only you. A scheduled report belongs to the person who set it up, for that one account. Setting up reports needs an owner or admin. Each of them can set up their own, for the accounts they have access to. An editor who tries sees “This action is unauthorized.” See Team members and roles. To send a report to a client, forward the email. When it arrives
- Weekly Report: early each week, on Monday or Tuesday.
- Monthly Report: at the start of each month, on the 1st or 2nd.
What’s in it
The email is called “Your scheduled analytics report for [account] is ready”. The PDF is attached. The PDF is the same report you get from Export To PDF: totals, charts, best times, recommendations, hashtags and posts. See What’s in the report. The report also shows under the bell at the top of the app. Click it there to open the PDF.Turn off the email but keep the report
If you’d rather not get the email, you can still find each report under the bell.1
Open your email settings
Click your avatar, choose Settings, then Email Notifications.
2
Turn off the Analytics switch
Under Analytics, turn off “Send me my scheduled analytics reports by email.”
Stop a report
Open the report menu for that account and pick No Scheduled Report. You’ll see “Scheduled analytics report settings have been removed.”When reports stop on their own
- The workspace owner leaves Business. Reports need the Business plan, or the trial. While the owner is on another plan, no reports are sent. They start again when the owner moves back to Business.
- The account is removed from the workspace. Its reports stop for good.
