Plans: Pro and Business, and the free trial. A Brand Kit holds your brand’s voice and look: how you write, your colors, your logo and your font. You give it to one or more social accounts. The AI features then write and design in that style.

Create a Brand Kit

1

Open Brand Kits

Click Brand Kits in the sidebar.
2

Click Create brand kit

Give it a Name, like your business or client name, and click Create.
3

Fill in the tabs

The kit opens on four tabs: Voice, Visual identity, Content rules and Assigned profiles. The sections below explain each one.
4

Click Save changes

You’ll see “Brand kit saved.” If you leave with unsaved changes, PublishBuddy asks before it throws them away.
You can make as many Brand Kits as you need, for example one for each client.

Voice

Voice instructions. Describe your tone and personality, and what to avoid. For example: “Warm and direct. Speak in first-person plural. Avoid hype words and exclamation marks.” You have up to 5,000 characters. Writing samples. Upload up to 5 files of your past writing, so the AI can match it. PDF, TXT and DOCX files work, up to 5 MB each. Analyze previous posts. Turn this on and PublishBuddy reads up to 100 of the latest published posts from the kit’s accounts. It works out a short summary of your voice from them. It runs in the background when you turn it on and save, and again when you change the kit’s accounts. You don’t see the summary, but the AI uses it. It uses no credits. If you turn it on before you assign any accounts, there’s nothing to read yet. Assign accounts first.

Visual identity

  • Brand colors: three colors, Brand, Background and Text. Type a hex code like #05968d. If your text color is hard to read on the background, PublishBuddy offers a better one.
  • Watermark: a Primary logo and an Inverted logo for dark backgrounds. A transparent PNG or SVG works best. Pick a spot in Watermark Placement and set the Watermark opacity.
  • Font: pick from the list, like Montserrat, Open Sans or Georgia.

Content rules

Emoji preference sets how many emoji AI-written text uses: Off, Light or Lots. It starts on Light.

Assign it to your accounts

1

Open Assigned profiles

You’ll see your workspace’s social accounts with a checkbox next to each.
2

Tick the accounts

Use Search profiles to find one fast.
3

Click Save changes

You’ll see “Profile assignments saved.”
Each social account can have only one Brand Kit. If an account is already on another kit, it shows “On” and the kit’s name. Ticking it asks if you want to move it. Click Yes, move.

What uses your Brand Kit

Your Visual identity is used on carousel slides the AI Agent makes. That’s the colors, the font, and the logo as a watermark in the spot you picked. When the Agent makes an image for an account with a kit, it adds your colors to the image’s prompt. AI Studio doesn’t put your logo or colors on images and videos. See Make a carousel with AI.

Rename or delete a kit

  • Rename: open the kit and click the pencil next to its name.
  • Delete: on Brand Kits, open the menu on the kit’s card and choose Delete. Its accounts are left without a kit. Your posts aren’t changed.

Who can edit Brand Kits

Brand Kits belong to the workspace. Everyone in it can create, edit and delete them.
