# Use workspaces for clients and brands

> Keep each client or brand in its own workspace, with its own accounts, team and posts.

A workspace holds one set of social accounts, plus the team and posts that go with them. Running several brands or clients? Give each one its own workspace and nothing gets mixed up.

Each workspace keeps its own:

* social accounts and their queues
* posts, drafts and labels
* team members and what they can access
* media library folders, Brand Kits and ideas

People only see the workspaces they belong to. A client in one workspace never sees your other clients.

## How many workspaces you can have

The Free plan has one workspace. Pro and Business have as many as you need.

On Free, workspaces you joined by invite count too. If you're already in someone else's workspace, creating your own stops with "1 workspaces allowed only. Please upgrade your plan."

Your plan's social account limit covers all the workspaces you own together. The team member limit applies to each workspace. See [Plans, the free trial and AI credits](/help/plans-trial-and-credits).

## Create a workspace

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the workspace menu">
    Click the workspace name at the top of the sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Create New Workspace">
    It's at the bottom of the list.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Name it and click Create">
    Type a **Workspace Name**, like the client's or brand's name, and click **Create**. PublishBuddy takes you to **Accounts** so you can connect its social accounts. See [Connect your social accounts](/help/connect-accounts).
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Switch between workspaces

Click the workspace name at the top of the sidebar and pick another one. You'll see "Your workspace has been successfully changed." Everything on screen now belongs to that workspace.

## Change a workspace's name or logo

Only the workspace owner can do this.

1. Switch to the workspace.
2. Click **Workspace Settings** in the sidebar.
3. Under **Logo**, click **Edit Photo** to upload a logo. Under **Name**, type the new name. It saves on its own.

Everyone in the workspace sees its name and logo.

## Delete a workspace

Only the workspace owner can delete it. On **Workspace Settings**, click **Delete Workspace**, then **Delete** to confirm.

<Warning>
  Deleting a workspace takes effect right away and can't be undone. It works on your last workspace too. It removes:

  * the workspace's social accounts
  * its scheduled, queued and draft posts
  * its media library, ideas, labels and Brand Kits
  * everyone's access to it, pending invites included
</Warning>

Posts that already went out stay live on the networks. Deleting the workspace also doesn't cut PublishBuddy's access on the networks' side. To do that, remove PublishBuddy from each network's settings for connected apps.

<Tip>
  A social account can only be in one workspace at a time. To move one, remove it from the old workspace, then connect it in the new one. Removing it deletes its planned posts and history in the old workspace.
