# "No YouTube channels found on this account."

> Fix the YouTube connect error, and find a channel that's missing from the list when you have more than one.

## What you see

You click **YouTube** and sign in with Google. Then you see this message:

"No YouTube channels found on this account."

Or the list under "Choose which YouTube channels to add." is missing one of your channels.

## Why it happens

**"No YouTube channels found"** means the Google account you signed in with has no channel. This happens when:

* you picked a different Google account in the sign-in window
* the channel belongs to a Brand Account, and you signed in as your personal account instead
* you haven't made a channel on YouTube yet

**A channel is missing from the list.** When one Google login has two or more channels, PublishBuddy leaves the first channel out of the list. We know about this and are fixing it. Channels that are already connected are left out of the list too.

## How to fix it

### "No YouTube channels found"

<Steps>
  <Step title="Check the channel on YouTube">
    Open YouTube in your browser and check which Google account owns the channel.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect again">
    On **Accounts**, click **Add Social Accounts**, then **YouTube**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick the right account">
    When Google asks you to choose an account, pick the one that owns the channel. If Google asks you to pick a channel or Brand Account, pick that channel.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect the channel">
    Click **Connect** next to the channel, then **Done**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

### A channel is missing from the list

<Steps>
  <Step title="Connect the channels you can see">
    Click **Connect** next to each channel in the list, then **Done**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect YouTube again">
    Click **Add Social Accounts**, then **YouTube**, and sign in with the same Google account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect the missing channel">
    The channels you just added drop out of the list, so the missing channel now shows on its own. Click **Connect**, then **Done**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  Reconnecting a channel you already added works as normal. This only affects adding a new channel.
</Note>
