# My analytics are empty or out of date

> Why the Analytics page shows No Data or old numbers, when PublishBuddy pulls new numbers, and what each network doesn't share.

## What you see

* A card on the **Analytics** page says **No Data**.
* Today's posts don't show any numbers yet.
* A banner says "We've connected your account and are fetching the latest data. This can take a little while, so please check back soon."
* The **Link Clicks** or **Video Views** chart is missing.
* A number doesn't match what the network shows.

## Why it happens

**PublishBuddy pulls numbers once a day.** Post numbers come in overnight, UTC time. Account numbers like followers come in at 08:00 UTC. A post you published today gets its numbers tomorrow.

**Every time period ends yesterday.** **Last 7 Days**, **This Week** and the others stop at the last full day. Today is never included.

**The account is new.** The first pull can take a while. Follower history for TikTok, YouTube and Bluesky starts the day you connect them. Those networks only share today's number, so there's no history to fetch.

**Some charts hide small numbers.** **Link Clicks** and **Video Views** only show when the total for the period is 10 or more.

**The account needs reconnecting.** PublishBuddy can't fetch numbers for it. Look for a red warning on **Accounts**.

**The network doesn't share that number.** Each network shares different numbers:

* **X:** no follower numbers. Everything on the page comes from your posts.
* **Pinterest:** not on the Analytics page. Pin numbers show on the **Posts** page and the **Dashboard**.
* **TikTok, YouTube and Bluesky:** no reach.
* **Threads:** **New Followers** shows 0.
* **Gender and age:** Instagram only, and only for **This Week** and **This Month**.
* **Top countries and cities:** Facebook and Instagram. Instagram only for **This Week** and **This Month**.

## How to fix it

    Pick a longer period from the menu at the top, like **Last 30 Days**.

  <Step title="Click Sync Analytics">
    It fetches the latest numbers now. You'll see "The synchronization has been successfully created." and then "Analytics synchronization completed." It can take up to 3 minutes.

  <Step title="Reconnect if needed">
    If the account shows a red warning on **Accounts**, reconnect it. Then click **Sync Analytics** again.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Give new accounts a day">
    Come back after the next daily pull.
  </Step>

  The **Analytics** page is on the Business plan, and in the free trial. Every plan sees post numbers on the **Posts** page and the **Dashboard**. How far back the **Posts** list goes depends on your plan: 7 days on Free, 365 days on Pro and 2 years on Business.

## When to email us

Email [hello@publishbuddy.com](mailto:hello@publishbuddy.com) if a card still shows **No Data** two days after a sync, or **Sync Analytics** keeps failing. Include:

* the social account and network
* the time period you picked
* the card that's empty or wrong, with a screenshot
