# Will the AI Agent post without asking me?

> The AI Agent saves drafts on its own, but asks before it schedules, publishes, edits, deletes or spends credits on an image or video. Here's what the confirmation card shows.

**Plans:** Pro and Business, and the free trial.

No. The AI Agent can write posts and save them as drafts. Anything that sends a post out, changes it or spends credits on media waits for you to click **Confirm**.

## Drafts the Agent makes

When you ask the Agent to write a post, it saves it as a **draft**. It doesn't ask first, because a draft never goes out on its own. It can save one draft for each account you picked, up to 20 at once.

You'll find these drafts with your other drafts. Open **Posts** and pick **Drafts**. They work like any draft you made yourself.

Sometimes the Agent only shows a caption in the chat instead of saving it. Click **Open in composer** under the answer to start a post from it.

## What needs your OK

The Agent shows a confirmation card before it does any of these:

* schedule a post, or move it to a new time
* add a post to the queue
* publish a post right away
* take a post off the schedule
* retry a failed post
* edit or delete a post
* make an image, a video or a carousel, or turn an image into a clip

The card's question says what it's about to do, like "Are you sure you want to schedule this post?"

## What the card shows

* **Profile:** the account the post is for, with its network.
* **Post:** the text and any images or videos.
* **How it will look:** a preview of the post on that network, when you schedule, queue or edit.
* **Schedule:** the date and time, like "Oct 13, 2025 at 3:00 PM".

## Your three choices

**Confirm.** The Agent does exactly what the card shows. It then tells you it's done, like "All set - it's on the schedule."

**Cancel.** Nothing happens. The Agent replies "You canceled this confirmation, I understand, no problem." You can ask it for something else.

**Edit first.** This one shows when you schedule, queue or edit a post. It opens the post in the composer:

* Save your changes there, and the Agent leaves the post exactly as you saved it. It won't schedule it for you. It says "You edited and saved this post in the composer, so I left it as you saved it."
* Close the composer without saving, and the card stays as it was. You can still confirm or cancel.

### If the card expired

A card waits about 5 minutes. After that it says "This confirmation has expired." Click **Retry** to get a fresh card for the same action. A card in a conversation you reopen later always shows as expired.

## Cards that spend credits

When the Agent wants to make an image, a video or a carousel, the card shows the price first.

**Images** come with two choices you can change:

* **Model:** pick another AI model from the list. Each shows its price, like "14 credits per image".
* **Aspect ratio:** pick the shape, like 1:1 or 9:16.

The card then shows **Est. cost** and either "You have 480 credits." or how many more you need for that model. If a cheaper model would do, you'll see a button like **Use FLUX.2 Draft for 4 credits instead**.

**Videos, carousels and text** show the model and the credits, with your balance next to them.

Click **Confirm** to make it with the settings on the card. You're charged the price shown.

## After an image or video is made

The result shows in the chat when it's ready. It's also saved in the **AI Studio** folder of your **Media Library**. Under it you'll find:

* **Use in a post:** opens a new post with the image or video in it. Nothing is saved until you save it.
* **Open the draft:** shows instead when the Agent already put the result in a draft post.
* **Animate**, **Edit** and **Variations** (images only): turn it into a clip, change something in it, or make three more like it.

## Edit what the Agent made

You can always change the Agent's work in the composer:

* **Edit in composer** on any post the Agent lists for you
* **Edit first** on a confirmation card
* **Open the draft** on a finished carousel
* **Open in composer** on a caption it wrote

Saving in the composer updates that same post.

## Posts that need approval

If your access to an account requires approval, the Agent can't schedule, queue or publish for it. It saves the post as a draft and tells you to ask an admin. See [Approve posts before they go out](/help/approve-posts).
